MATTERS OF THE HEART WOMEN’S CONFERENCE

The presence of the Lord was quite evident as woman gathered together for our first Fall Women’s Conference at the Best Western Heritage Inn in Rancho Cucamonga. Testimonies have bared witness that hearts were revived, renewed and encouraged. One attendee stated, “her life will never be the same” as a result of her personal experience at the conference.

The women were reminded that any matter, that which is important to them as individuals is also important to God. So what is a matter? A matter is whatever occupies space and is perceptible to the senses. Thus whatever is occupying ones mind that which is heavy on one’s heart can be placed into the hands of God almighty. "END OF SUMMER BLAST"

What an awesome time we had…All 58 of us.

We enjoyed a weekend of fellowship, amusement park, dinner at the ocean at sunset and a fireside service.

We had a morning breakfast and prayer circle.

We enjoyed living in log cabins! Our final moments were spent on Sunday morning in worship service.

A special thanks to all those who worked to make this weekend such a special time.

We love you all…God Bless,
Pastor David and Claudette

Perspective - FROM THE OVERSEER’S DESK

When the last time you really told God what was on your mind?

James 5:13 (KJV)

When the last time you really told God what was on your mind; just really bared your soul to the Lord? I mean simply let God have it all, giving everything to God in Prayer? Your mind, will, emotions, struggles, needs, passions, appetites, desires …, anger, you get the idea. The Psalmist calls this “Lifting our souls to the Lord”, Ps 25:1.

James ask us, “Is any among you afflicted, (in trouble, suffering)? let him pray. Is any merry, (cheerful, happy)? let him sing psalms, a praise.” (KJV) James 5:13

Merry Christmas
Songwriter Fred Hammond, sings a song that says, “Thank You Lord For Being There For Me”. Another old gospel song says, “He Was There All The Time”. WOW, how the truth of Christmas is wrapped up in the body of these two songs. For the scriptures tell us, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Matt 1:23 (KJV)

As we approach this Christmas season, the end of one year and the New Beginnings of another, we pray that the truth of Christ’s omnipresence be the gift that affords you the most Joy and pleasure. For truly, God is with us!

With love,
Bishop Jeffery and Terry Davis
